There’s a simple reason we’re getting the word out about Summit 2018 so far in advance… it’s going to be an absolutely fantastic time and some of the options may fill up early. We don’t want anyone to miss out on the best The Healey Seaside Summit has to offer.
Take the event venue, for example. The Wylie Inn and Conference Center is in the heart of Boston’s coastal North Shore … an area that sees summer hotel rates of between $200 to $300 a night for a comparable stay. By reserving the site now and guaranteeing room fills in advance, we’ve secured an extremely favorable rate of $129 per night, including breakfast for two. Space in the Inn will be limited and if you want to be in the heart of the action, you’ll need to reserve early. And the more “early” reservations we have, the better opportunity we’ll have to reserve additional rooms for more Summit guests before they’re snapped up by other vacationers.
Speaking of vacationers, this is a perfect opportunity to combine Healey fun with a little extra summer vacation time. The Cape Ann area has so much to see and do that we couldn’t possibly fit it all in to four days of Summit, so we’ve added in an extra “bonus” day. Instead of going home on Thursday, you may choose to spend an extra night at the Wylie for the same $129 rate (without breakfast) so you can enjoy some of the other attractions on your own we just didn’t have room for. Check them out here
Of course, we’ll have all your favorite Healey activities with a local twist. Cocktails on the deck in one of Gloucester’s best locations, a driving tour past some of the gilded age mansions of Manchester-by-the sea ending in a walking rally through Rockport, the Webster’s now-famous “Lobster Feed – Redux“, s’mores, and a Healey movie on a private beach. a schooner tour around Gloucester harbor and a Gatsby-themed banquet in the conservatory of Tupper Manor, our host mansion.
We’ll let you know when registration opens, but once it does, don’t delay. You won’t want to miss a second of “The Healey Seaside Summit”!
